code of conduct

It is important that volunteers working under the name of Voice for Animals follow a code of conduct which represents the values of the group. Our main values are:

  • Voice for Animals Humane Society believes in education as the tool to effect change. We feel it is preferable to deliver our message in a non-confrontational manner.
  • Voice for Animals Humane Society is strictly against violent behaviour. Violence includes physical and verbal attacks, and attacks on property.
  • Protesters must follow the protest parameters set out by Voice for Animals Humane Society.
  • Voice for Animals Humane Society encourages veganism - not just in food, but in clothing and other products as well. During protests and other events, we ask that participants adhere to vegan principles.
  • Voice for Animals Humane Society opposes all forms of exploitation, such as racism, sexism, and homophobia.
