Richardson’s ground squirrels, also known as
Prairie Gophers, are being poisoned in the name of animal agriculture, and it's time to put an end to this vile practice, which not only destroys the gophers, but countless other forms of wildlife that are inadvertently affected.

Currently, strychnine poisoned grain is being used, but two Conservative MPs, Leon Benoit and David Anderson, are convinced that strychnine laced grain doesn’t have enough killing power and are fighting to have liquid strychnine reintroduced.  The liquid strychnine is even more devastating than the grain.
